Short answer? Yes and yes, FREY is HE compatible, but can also be used in non-HE machines. FREY is also cold-water capable, so it saves you time, money, and helps the environment.

HE (high efficiency) machines use significantly less water than normal machines, saving both water use and the energy needed to heat it. They also have a longer spin cycle, resulting in dryer clothes coming out of the wash and leading to less time in the dryer.

There are a few differences between HE detergents and typical detergents, the main difference is that HE detergents are lower-sudsing, something which is required for HE machines to work properly. So, typical detergents cannot be used in a HE machine. However, HE detergents are usable in a standard washer. You will not see the normal amount of sudsing you are used to and the fragrance may be less noticeable, but the cleaning power is the same.

So, yes, you can use FREY in a normal, non-HE machine.

Cold-water capable detergents are detergents that are just as effective washing clothes in hot water as in cold water. Washing your clothes in cold water saves the energy needed to heat the water.

FREY is both cold-water capable and HE compatible, saving you money and helping the environment.

Our detergent smells great, but we know the colognes you choose smell great too. While FREY detergent has a strong scent when poured from the bottle, by the time your laundry is finished, your clothes only smell faintly of our detergent, allowing you to layer your cologne on top without a problem.

We try to balance the potency of our scent so that it is not over-powering, yet still present. Clearly, everyone has different preferences!

So, if you would like a stronger scent, you can either use more detergents, or you can purchase our dryer sheets, which allow you to better calibrate the scent!

You must have a membership before you can re-order through text. You can sign-up here, or on any individual product page.

Once you have a membership, simply text “[email protected]” (yes, you can text the email address), with your name or the email account associated with your membership. We will respond with a confirmation, and then send your order!

Your “countdown” will re-set at that point, unless you request otherwise. So, if your products are shipped every 3 months and you request and order 1 month early, the 3 month countdown will begin again at the time of your order.

Sign-up and save 20% on all orders. You can change or cancel at any time, and will receive an email 4 days in advance reminding you of your upcoming order. You can also manage your membership on your own to completely customize the products, the frequency, pause up-coming orders, and anything else you would like. Just sign-up for an account with the email address you used to purchase your membership.

Simply click the “login” button in the top right (or go here), login, click the “manage subscription” button at the top under “My Account”

From there, if you click on the “Frequency” link, you can change your delivery timing! Or, to the far right under “Manage”, you can manage your upcoming orders, add or remove products, change your next shipping date, and basically change anything you would like about your membership!

Great question! Simply go to the product page of the product you wish to add (so if you wish to add dryer sheets, go to the dryer sheets product/purchase page). Instead of selecting “one time purchase”, select “Subscribe & save”, and then select “Add to Existing Subscription”. This will automatically add it to your current subscription, so the products are delivered together!
You will get an email update when your order has been Received and when it has Shipped!

If you still want to check the status of your order however you can view it by going to https://freyformen.com/myorder/ and entering in your order number (Found in your confirmation email) and your emailed used during purchase.

Once in a while, the pump-tops can prove to be rather difficult to open, or lock shut! Here’s a few quick tips:

The arrow on the top of the bottle points TOWARDS the unlocking direction. So, turning the pump counter-clockwise opens the top, and clockwise locks it.
The base of the pump-top (not the spout itself, but the collar around the neck) needs to be securely tightened for the locking/unlocking mechanism to work. Make sure it is tight around the bottle neck before you try to lock/unlock the spout
